The purpose of FATA shall be to:
  • promote quality assessment practices for state-wide assessments
  • serve as a global voice on issues of importance related to state, national and international assessments
  • provide support, guidance and assistance to new district assessment administrators
  • engage in any other lawful activities that further the sole purpose of the organization

Barrington Maxwell
​

Barrington Maxwell is the Senior Manager of Student Assessment for Orange County Public Schools. A former high school Intensive Reading teacher and former school-based test coordinator, he joined the district Student Assessment Team in 2014. This is Barrington’s third year as a FATA member.

Crissy Stout
​

Crissy Stout is the coordinator for secondary assessment in School District of Lee County.  She has been an educator over 20 years, beginning as a secondary math teacher.  This is her 6th year as an assessment coordinator.

Charlene Sozio


Charlene Sozio is the Assessment Specialist for Volusia County Public Schools. She has been in assessment and a member of FATA for six years.

Peter Zsiga

 
Pete Zsiga is the Coordinator of Accountability for St. Lucie Public Schools. He is in his fourth year at the district. He is a former math teacher and coach.

Neyda Francis


Neyda Francis is the Assistant Director and the District Accountability Coordinator for Brevard Public Schools. She has been in the Testing and Accountability Office and member of FATA for eighteen years.

Heather Himes
Polk County

Heather Himes is the Senior Coordinator of Student Learning Evaluation for Polk County Public Schools.  This is her 5th year in this role.  Previously, she was a science teacher, science coach, and high school testing coordinator.

Amy Crowell



​Amy Crowell is the Director of Research and Accountability for Citrus County Schools. She entered the education field as an elementary school teacher 19 years ago and has spent the last 5 years as an assessment administrator.
